Sure.. There lots you can do. Just depends on how much money you are willing to spend. SS braided brake lines should help firm up the peddal. SSBC, Bear and Wilwood all make upgraded brake kits for these trucks, but the are expensive and most require I think 18" wheels. SSBC also has a nice rotor and pad upgrade kit that uses stock calipers for around $400.00

I would say the brake upgrades are hit and miss. Mine still suck. I have stainless lines, Baer Eradispeed +1 front and rear and Hawk pads front and rear. I didn’t notice a difference with any of these mods.

I had ss brake lines on teh truck for a while now and they do make it feel better, not too sure if they shorten the braking distance. But I recently installed a set of the powerslot plus big brake kit with 14" rorors on the front and it shortened the braking distance by quite a bit. For the $400 I highly recommend them for their performance.

I have 70K plus miles on my Silverado and still have plenty of pad material left on front and rear. I guess I must use that pedal on the far right more than I do the one in the middle.
