I'm gonna be doin some gears here soon and i was wanting to make sure i picked up the right girdle from TR today.
I picked up the 8.5 - 10bolt one.
But they also had a 7.5 - 10bolt?

yes you have a 8.625" rear actually but im pretty sure the 8.5" girdle will work.

the 7.5" 10bolt is the one for the fbodies i think

Yeah it's a TA. I just wanted to make sure cause i went in and asked for the 8.5 and the guy was like....you mean 7.5? Guy knows i drive two trucks!!!
I say no for a truck.....his reply i think it's a 7.5 but ok.

So i wanted to make sure i wasn't crazy and he's just got things mixxed up.

Definitely the 8.5. Like mentioned above the trucks since the early 90's actually use a 8.625 ring gear but are still using the same 8.5 housing.
The 7.5 (really 7.625) was used in the S series trucks and the F-bodies.
