Default Gears and Converter

I am lookin at upgrading to a better set of gears (3.90 or 4.10) and I was also thinking about a converter. I eventually want to do an LS6 cam and I wanted to know what I should be looking at as ar as a converter. Lemme know what you think.

i think you should look into a bigger cam. the LS6 just isnt enough for a N/A motor. id do a 212/216 .550.550 114 or even a 216/220 .575.580 114+2 type of cam with a 3000 converter.

go 4:10s if your going to run a tall street tire, go 3:90s if your going to do more trips than anything.

if i had it to do over again id go 4:30s over my 4:10s but i run a CCSB so i need more help

how tall is that tire??? he is right... that cam isnt going to be much.. they have a guy around here with an ecsb with a small cam 5.3 and a 3000 stall that runs 13.8s with a 3.42 gear

i think its like a 218/220

trailblazer stall with the ls6 is fine for a cheap budget build. but i agree with^^^go a little bigger on the cam and a circle-d 3k-3200 stall. thats the tc i have and so do alot of others and i love it. i would think 3.90s would be enough gear in a rcsb with a small cam. now im going 4.10s as well cause im ccsb also

grey matters 04 its actually a 212/216 low lift Truckshop tune, Tru-Trac, on DRs flat footed, Yank TT3000, vette servos, CAI, LTs, OR-Y, lowered, Full weight!
also he traps 99.xx mph in the 1/4

Daryn C went 12.44s with a 6.2/65e 3600converter 3:73s they arent a big difference, but if you are a roll racer the 3:90s will work out better for you.
