hey Cuerva, i was talking to you at the track last time i was there, were did you get the shims for the pinion, im having a terrible vibration at 55-70 then again when im over 110-120, or do you happen to know where to take so they can check the pinion angle.

I got them from Styling Concepts for like 20 buck plus shipping. When I had my gears installed the guy said I would probably have vibrations, to get a 4 deg shim kit.

I'll trade you my mystery gears from my yukon for your 3.42's.

 

so what gears are they?

 

I'm not sure. LOL There supposed to be 3.42's but I turn a few more RPM's than my friends truck with 3.73's. So I'm guessing I have either 3.73's or 4.10's. I hope to get it on a lift ASAP and find out for sure.

 

how would we go about with the swamp?

 

I'm from TX and drive back there every once in awhile. I hope to go back this summer again. My silvy that was just totaled had 4.10's and detroit locker in it. The only thing still good on the truck was the rear. I can try to see about getting the rear from it if your interested.
