Sweet project. I would love to have one but at $3,000.....ill pass.....or wait until I hit a small lotto!

I had done a LOT of research on these years ago when I was putting my Olds together. If you can break one of those you win the prize. I wish I would have shelled out the cash for one of those behind my car's original TH400 rather than build the 200R4, for 2700 bucks, twice so far. You'll definitely need another crossmember, but I've heard they're more of a performance upgrade rather than an economy upgrade. I've heard the extra weight negates that, but I didn't realize they're only 40 pounds so maybe I'm talking out of my *** there. Sounds like a dope project, in all I don't think you can go wrong. Is there a build thread on it somewhere?

Interesting, I gave them a call today and was informed that they don't make a unit which supports Auto 4WD transfer cases.
