I can't speak for everyone, but I had an issue with the install kit...
the kit's pinion gear bearing was the wrong size, I had to get one at the dealership after attempting NAPA first.

My 2000 EC seems to always have differences that no one has listed in their books,...example: no one's book ever shows a 4-door 2000 EC...
