Default gear?

Ok i jus bought a tru trac and want to do a gear swap at the same time...its in my 01 silverado ext cab. I found these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

But question is....they say 1999 and newer but then it says 1999 2000 with rear disk brake only.....im assuming they fit 01 also, right?

with the trutrac you'll run regular 80/85/90 rearend fluid. NON synthetic.

The gears will work but i think it was in 2000 that there was a change to the bearing sizes. meaning the provided bearings would not work.

Correct. Just take your stock bearing off the pinion and re-use it.
