Default GAS Mileage?!?!?!

Hey guys, I am thinking about gears in my truck. It is my daily driver, and I am considering the tr220 cam. I am thinking either 3.90 or 4.10... But my question is How bad does your mileage suck after this install??? Does it get extremely bad, the same or get any better???
Thanks in Advance!!!
Brian

P.S. it is a rcsb 4.8l basically stock!!!

any more aggressive cam that stock will give you worse gas mileage, just physics really. I'd say, 3.73 gears and a stall that complements the cam well, if you have an auto.

If you have a manual, then 3.90s would be a good choice.

don't bother with 3.73's or 3.90's. if your running a stock height tire, go with the 4.10's. i have that cam with 4.10's and i get 20mpg on the hwy. although mine is a 5.3....
