Default g80 fitment????

may be a stupid question but I have no idea. My 03' scsb silvy did not come with the g80. it was a 1 wheel wonder before it messed up, and I am looking for a cheap fix for now. Will a g80 bolt in place of my original unit using the same gears, bolts, etc..??

It will go in for sure, BUT you may need different shims to adjust your backlash/pattern. Just b/c it goes in doesnt mean it will be right...

Why a 'gov Bomb'?.
Is it free?
For all the work in setting a diff up properly...get a Trutrac and do it once.

It will work fine but be careful with that truck,it runs good and it will break a G80 fairly quik

So Charlie what would be a cheap fix for him? Or with going with a used G80 cost him more in the long run?

unless he just needs it to ride with, I would save some dough and get a trutrac or eaton and have it done once. If it blows it might get expensive.
