Default Which Fuddle Stall?

Which series are you Fuddle guys running? I am looking at getting a 3400 stall for my truck, I think I have narrowed it down to Fuddle. John recommended the HP/Truck Series for me, but I'm not sure whether I should go with the HP/Truck Series or the Performance Series. I never tow with the truck but it is a heavy truck with a fiberglass cover and some heavy *** 18s.

Well, he recommended the HP/Truck for mine but I was wondering if it would be overkill since I will not be doing any towing. I will probably still go with the HP/Truck anyway but if there is no reason to then I would be ok saving some money for the cam swap and everything.

Hmm, I guess I'll break down and get the hp truck then. I kinda wanted to have the peace of mind of having a stronger clutch in it anyway so I think it will work out.

So you can tow with a 3000+ stall converter?

They say you can with the HP/Truck series. I don't plan on it though.

I was worried about towing and keeping my payload with a converter and John recommended that I wait on the HD Truck series, said it should be ready by May 8th.. I lost my last converter (TCI SF3000) and tranny from hauling some stuff in the bed of my truck... Hopefully it wont happen again heh..

I don't plan on towing either, but it would be nice to maintain that ability if ever needed....I mean hell, it is a truck

i went with the pref. 3200 because i frankly didnt want to wait and dont really do much truck related things with mine other than the occasional few 2x4's or something john said it should hodl up just fine as long as i get my lock up points raised, it was nice to get the converter in 10 days, and save 150$ and know i can just trade it in if im unhappy and pay the difference
