Default Fuddle Converters...Kinda Loose?

I just got my fuddle converter in on sunday, with a rock-on transmission. But the converter is flashing kinda high (like 5k rpm), I am wondering if anyone who had a Fuddle Converter experienced this? I was gonna Call John later today and see what he has to say, I just wanted to check on here first.

Sounds a bit high the flash rpm should only be about 3-400 higher atleast in my experience. WHich one did you get and what stall speed?

Just the regular performance converter, 3k/2.2 shouldnt be flashing that High but it does. The converter just seems really really loose.

I just put my 3200/2.2 HP truck converter in on saturday and I am experianceing the same thing. Mine seems to be more along the lines of a 3800. It is a whole lot looser than my previous TT3000 at part throttle. I have to give it 2000-2500 rpm just to get moving at a moderate pace. I have also tried contacting John via email but have yet to get a responce back.

I thought the same thing when I got mine. I've gotten used to it now. Mine is a 2800 and it will brake stall to about that. From a roll, it will jump to ~4k and stay there as I'm gaining speed. Is this normal? This is my first stall.

Wow, these sound like some loosey-goosey converters.

I'm interested to hear what John has to say when you guys talk with him.
