Four wheel drive not working

Default Four wheel drive no work

Buddy of mine has a mid 90's burb with a problem with the four wheel drive. Front axle not locking in. How do I go about finding whats wrong

is it push button or floor shift 4WD?

might be something wrong with the push buttons.

Yeah, do the uttons (if is push button) light up/change. The old body stlyes had a bad problem about the front acuator being slow or not working. Gives us some more info and lets get it fixed !!

I'm guessing actuator too. Our 03 Trailblazer is in the shop right getting getting a new actuator. It would not go into 4wd when warm. Could hear the actuator trying to work but not the full click when engaged.

Question Four wheel drive not working

I got a buddy of mine that has a mid 90's suburban and the four wheel drive does not work. Checked all the fuses and they are all right. How do I go about figuring out what is wrong? Thanks guy's

It has no push bottons, just got to pull the lever. It does not work at all.

Well I just fixed one today that was push button. It was the actuator. If you can find a used one get it.If you want I can send you the test sheets to test it.
