Are you sure it was the input and not the output? That seems strange because of what you posted above. I would make sure that your builder looks closely at the sleeve in the stator tube to make sure that it looks mint. It is very common to see damage in this area when an input breaks. Vince

Oh yes it was the input shaft. I wouldn't doubt the stator tube sleeve was damaged as well. My tranny guy is very good at what he does, so if its bad, he'll catch it.
