FLT FTW.......They have been around a long time and have been supporting this forum with quality parts from the beginning. Use the original .

Both of them are good tranny companies and both provide lots of great input on the boards. I'd go with whichever company meets your budget best.

there was a thread about this a while back, I did some searching and both companies tend to have good customer feedback and customer service. I ordered an FLT lvl4 with a new converter and it was a pretty descent price.

Threads like this are silly because all you are going to hear is positive opnion from those that use each product. That said I absolutely love my FLT transmission and the service and cnsideration I have received from the guys at FLT would be difficult to best.

ive got something different.

both companies are awesome but if you seriously need one ASAP performabuilt is the company to go with. when i was looking at transmissions i was stuck between FLT and performabuilt. FLT was telling me that it was a month wait to get one of their units. performabuilt had it it me in 4 days. there was also no core charge or core return. ive also talked to frank at performabuilt past midnight on more than one occasion. customer service is excellent.

You will go with who you need to go with (don't think you can lose either way), but the fact that there are two transmission companies on this board that both have excellent products and service means that we are very fortunate.
