find ratio

i have spent 45 minutes trying to find out to tell the rear ratio on my truck....
isn't it in the vin? all my fords i have ever owned had a tag on the rear end but this thing don't....

where do i look?

its in ur glove box...if u search on here it will be something like gt4 is x.xx ratio...i forget but the info is on here...

Its in the glove box, should be a GU# or GT#

post it up and we'll decipher it.

i just found these two codes in like 30 seconds...

3.73:1 = gt4

3.42:1 = gu6
