I have one and I love it. Very nice converter. Everyone on thirdgen.org has one in their cars and they feel the same way I do.

I have the Street converter on my 383 FI setup and it holds just fine.

That's awesome.

I like that it won't effect the towing and driveabliity. I towed a Vette around 200 miles last night, all interested and very hilly. It wasn't bad at all, if it stayed very close to stock with better stall that would match the cam and motor I am building. I sent them an email and I am waiting. I guess we will see what they say

I had a 9.5in 2800 Edge converter in my rcsb and it was a little too loose for street driving.I can't say it wasn't fun flashing to 4200rpm when you stab it but always driving at 2800-3000 kinda sucks gas.

Andre @ Edge is the man!! Like noted above he will talk to you about your setup and goals, and build the 'verter that will best suit you.

I had him spec a 9.5" 2800ish for my LT1 Caprice I had a few years back.

The converter was a little looser than I had originally expected, but I grew to LOVE it. I was running 3.08 gears, so that will make it feel loose I recon.

I towed frequently with the car over long distances, and never had the trans over 180.

Well, I have the converter, but need a couple more parts to do the rebuild of the tranny. The specs on the verter are 2978rpm "TRUE" stall and a 2.40 STR with "tow clearances". I hope it doesn't feel too loose. Hope to have it in, in a few weeks.

I don't have one myself, but a good friend is using one in his '78 Regal and he loves it. He's not running a lot of power through it, only about 400 hp or so, but it's doing really good for him.

On break-in, the Edge will feel loose but get about 100-200 miles on it and it tightens right up after some lockup cycles.
