Default ECSTA STX or TOYO PROXES ST

Just getting ready to buy tires, going with the 275/60/17 on my Denali Rims, I have narrowed it down to these 2 tires, just looking for some input before I make the purchase.

Thanks

I've had good luck with the Toyos,I've had a set on my Tahoe for more than a year.My decision was based on having a good local dealer.

I had the Toyos in 275/60/16 form for 35k miles and replaced them with 305/50/20s this month when I went with larger rims. They have a cool feature called a Rim guard that will keep you from curbing your rims. They grip well and ride quiet as well.

hated the toyo's they didn't grip at all, but i had a set of the ecsta's and those gripped very well throughout the tread life.

I saw some 325/50-20" Toyo's on a slammed Boyd Coddington truck this weekend at the Good Guys show, looked sweet, no idea how they hook though....

I ended up going with the Hankook Ventus STs, wicked looking tread, and couldn't beat the price. I went 285/60/17 all around on Denali Rims
