Its a Dacco reman. I bought one from him for my STS 4.8. I've had it in for about 2 weeks and have been happy with it for the price. Much better then stock. It drives just like stock, but will stalls at about 21-2200 instead of 16-1800 if I'm not building boost with the little 4.8. If I brake stall it into boost (which I couldn't do before unless the turbo was really hot) it will go to about 23-2500. It did make a good bit of difference in how the truck performs. Now it will spin the tires when launching in 2 wheel drive and feels a lot stronger all the way through 1rst. There's a couple of guys on the sssilverdo board that are running them with Radix 6.0's, that's were he saying they are getting the higher stall from. That blower can make boost lower and make it stall higher. They can spin all 4's off the line with it. My thinking behind it is that it is a cheap upgrade till I brake my stock 4l60 and then I'll put a good converter in a built trans and go from there. No since in tearing up an expensive converter when the trans goes.

PS he will take less if you offer, PM me if you want to know what I got my for.

The picture was probably just for display purposes only. There are a few guys running this convertor with good results as Kbracing96 said before. This is the convertor I'm going order when I put my LS1 in just because of the signifigant cost difference.

Ya, the one I got looked a little different, and was black, but works all the same. He is a good honest seller and he gave me his phone number in a note with the converter.

I'm just curious here, but what is it about it that makes you say it isn't a Trailblazer stall? Is it something visual?
