Question Eaton locker

I just insalled my Eaton locker and a strange noise is comming from the rear and it does it all the time, accept on the throttle side(like when you're giving it gas) but it might be because I can't hear it for the exhaust but cruzing down the road you can hear it. I put the shims back in like they were, center punched the pinion yoke and nut to mark the preload......I was wanting some input on the noise issue......I still have the noise issue with the verter also that I'm tying to figure out also....... Man, all of these littler problems that we all concur on our projects. Any help or assistance is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,

James

Is it a chatter? Did you put the required additive for the clutches?

No chatter. Yes I put the 80w-90 with the slip additive(4oz bottle).

I used the shims that I took out. Put the locker in and very lightly tapped the shims in. Back lash, I center punched the pinion nut and the pinion shaft/bolt so I would know how much to tighten the nut back too.

LSD. It's not a M&M sound but.......I think it might be the brake rotors os something like this.....I'm going to check it out some more when I get home later.

The sound sounds like something is dragging....or like when you hear a train going down the track, and you hear the metal wheel on the metal track....something like this.....I'm fucked !!!!!!!! I just did the Eaton and no gears.
