Default Drum to Disc Swap

Okay, i just got done searching and i couldnt find a definitive answer on what i will need to swap from drums on my 06 extended cab
i broke the G80 a month or so ago and was planning to change the entire axle, i was wondering if while im at it i should just find an older silverado to pull the rear end out of with the discs and if i did that what would i need to make it all work? master cylinders proportioning valves abs? i know ill need e brake cables but beyond that im not sure. thanks in advance

I tried/thought about doing it to my 05 about 2 years ago and getting a whole new rear-end is the only way to go but you apparently already got that far. I think there's a couple people on here who might be a little more helpful about it than I can be though.
