Well.........guess the GM rep is being a hard ***!!!
He told my service advisor that the brakes work like they were intended and that there is not to be any service to be done to the brakes anymore!!!
That they or any other dealer will not be servicing the brakes anymore.
He more than likely took it around the block and that was it. It has to be driven at least 20 minutes before the brakes start acting up.
I know he didn't.

I was just without words. I couldn't believe it. The service advisor couldn't either. She said lemon it, but I don't know how and what all is involved in all that.
The GM customer relation guy is supposed to calling me tomarrow, so we'll see what he has to say about all this.
I wasnt able to speak to this GM rep......as of yet.
I'll sure be getting his name though.
The horn switch was replaced.
They found a tranny pan bolt loose. They replaced the gasket and reinstalled the pan and new fluid.
Was told I have to pick up the truck. Will be getting it in the morning.
What the hell do I do now????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm pissed!

It's not the actual dealership's fault. This was at Munday Chevrolet.
It's the GM Area Rep that made this decision. He goes around to many different GM dealerships in this area.
He's the dick!!

maybe try writing a letter to gm telling them how you were treated. make up some BS about how you were a chevy driver since you were a teenager but will never buy another chevy because of this and the dodge/ford/toyota line of pickups will be your new choice. let them know that **** like this is why their company is going under.

maybe tell them that your some big dog at a company who decides what worktrucks to buy yearly and the company wont be buying those 30 scsb worktrucks yearly anymore. willing to bet that would have them kissing your *** pretty soon.

I would definitely try writing GM Corporate. Might not do any good, but they don't like negative feedback, might see if the dealership service advisor will write one too to go with yours as backup. If they have seen and repaired problems with the truck before it might go a little further.

Might not want to hear it, but how hard would it be to get a complete rear end off of an 04 or prior unit? Don't know how hard it would be to make that work though. Might want to do some research on the lemon law, sounds like that might be the best way to go, although, if the GM Rep declared it working as it should, that might not help. Who knows? Good luck with it.
