Same shackles man. On step sides though, you need to loosen up the bed bolts at the rear, to make clearance to get the top bolt out. I dont know why its different but trust me it is. Jack stand the truck, leave jack under diff, but no pressure on it, once you have the bottom shackle bolts out, loosen up your bed bolts about 3/4 of the way out, then use the jack to lift rear end until those top bolts clear the frame, the the top of leafs will gently push the bed up and the bolts will clear. swap them out. I think there is a metal ridge on the stepside bed that hangs down farther, and thats why I had to lift the bed up a little. Hope this helps

Kinda late to this but just had the same problem put some 3inch lowering shackles on a 04 stepside and the leaf spring hits the little metal ridge on the bottom of the bed and now the bed won’t sit flush on the frame how could I fix this problem?

I don't think I have ever seen 3" drop shackles. They are usually 1" or 2", and it sounds like this is why. You can do hangars for 2" and shackles for 2", Are these generic drop shackles, or are they Silverado specific? What brand?
