Default Drop shackles Fleetside vs Stepside--Same or different?

Like the title says...Are they different? I have a 2" drop fleetside bed but want a stepside bed. Would I have to change out my 2" shackles or will they still work with the stepside? I think I found listings that sold different shackles for each.

pretty sure they're the same, but have heard that stepside beds require lifting the bed a little to install them. But since your changing beds then no big deal

I thought so too but the catalog showed 2 different parts # between a fleetside & stepside application.
