why they fail often? I dont know??? and yes as far as I know all the ecsb have the steel d.s., but I have seen a ext.cab truck with the 5.5ft bed (not the regular 6ft bed) have an aluminum one.

Nono, i ment do they fail often? Not why.
I've had mine up to 150mph several times. Closed course...........
dyno as well.
I wanna get a built one but not sure who to hit up and if i can go Aluminum or not if it's a high end unit.....
PS:I'm getting slicks.......

I should have been more specific. I didn't realize the EC's had 2 piece while CC's had 1 piece. that seems wierd to me.
