Default Which Drive Shaft 70e to 80e drive shaft for '08 ecsb

I am having an 80e built forme locally, well technically it was a stock rebuild and its being beefed up. I plan on installing this on my 2wd 2008 Extended Cab siverado. Currently it has a 1 piece aluminum drive shave but was told to get a steel shaft or 2 piece if its longer than x inches.

My question is which HD truck can I get the drive shaft from to work with my 08. I priced around and its going to be $60 bux to get a driveshaft shortend.

Have the Driveshaft Specialist make a new driveshaft for you.

I guess your right, I spent 5k on stroker, 3k on trans & stall why go with a junk yard driveshaft.

Your gonna have to get it all put together and get measurements so they can build you a shaft. I'm about to do this exact swap on a friends truck.

Are you using a separate TCM from a 2500 express van?

Yeah you definitely need to have it put together. I just had them shorten my rear shaft and lengthen my front. They do really great work!

You can do that or get a 4l80e tune from a file directory from efilive and do a full reflash on the tcm
