If I were to build my truck for a good daily driver with the occasional track meets and planned on installing enough mods to run ~ low 13's to high/mid 12's, what ride height setup would be the most effective on slicks? I've seen people such as Parish and Quicksilverado run near-to-stock if not stock suspension, but have seen others running 2" shackles, 2/4 drops, or even lower. So, for the sake of drivability while still getting a good balance for the track, what is the best ride height to go with?

I'm going to eventually do a 2/4 drop. Mine is also a daily driver and I tow my race car and a boat sometimes. I think it's the ideal drop size, that way you won't have the hassles of having helper bags or anything else. Plus a 4/6 drop almost defeats the purpose of having a truck! Go buy a ton of dirt and watch your entire *** end drag. I need functionality over fashion.
Oh, and yes a drop will help improve your 1/4 and top speed.
