so i put in my modified 2wd transfercase. i don't like it. its a pain in the *** to drive. dry pavement isn't too bad but wet roads like last night. it sucked i was getting left behind by everybody and i was bearly touching gas. damn truck got loose at 65mph at 40% throttle. dry road seems to be some what ok but i will def be putting the awd case back in. i need to find a silverado case instead of the weak borgwarner case.



on a side note i did get to get on it one good time and it didn't free wheel like it would with the awd case. before when the front tires would turn over the engine would go to red line and the truck would go no where. then i would let out it would clunk loudly and take off again.

 

Do you have any type of limited slip differential or Locker?

 

detroit locker. it works cause its clanking around turns like a good ole detroit c-locker does. spinning both tires all over the place. it makes me go to the right everytime it breaks loose.
