Yeah on occasion i go to 80 mph while pulling my lawn trailer 2200 gw is this killing my newly rebuilt trans? Im in a 5.3 ^^^

Well, short answer is yes. I'd be more worried about killing other people if you have to make an evasive maneuver, because those speeds + that trailer = trouble.

It's probably not good for it or safe for that matter... It also Depends on your Trans temp as well.

From the time the transmission goes into a vehicle....your killing it. They start to wear from day 1.

i say screw them all......your not ganna drive a brick with **** on the back of it that fast unless you know what your doing......i do the same thing myself haha

I couldnt force my tranny temps over like... 160 - 170... Ive pulled loaded dual axel uhaul trailers 200 miles over varied terrain at around 65 to 75 mph.... Wont even budge!!

I flushed the whole thing, substituted 1 quart with lucas trans additive, used synthetic valvoline dex6, **** wont get hott! Lol
