Question Do I Need Different Shocks for the Drop?

I'm going with Belltech's 2" front lower spindles and McGaughy's 3.5" rear hangers, shackles, 2* pinion shims, and carrier bearing spacer.
My main concern was having to change to a different rear shock due to the drop.
Do I need to change them or can I leave the O.E. shocks?

Keep the factory shocks till you wear them out, then get shorter shocks.

You Will Be Ok With The Stock Shocks, Unless You Tow Anything Or Have Any Weight In The Bed, It Will Bottom Out. If You Tow, I Would Suggest A Stiffer Shock.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but does anyone with a drop & notch setup run adjustable shocks with the leaf spring setup? It may have been talked about in the past and I just missed it, or it may not even be an option. If so what has been used and is somewhat easy on the butt?

I will be adding the Firestone air bags to the rear for towing.
That should fix any bottoming out issues. It bottoms out with the factory suspension if I hit a big enough dip in the highway. There are quite a few of those around the Houston highways!
