DJM drop kit ?'s
#1
well the trucks a 02 gmc rcsb sierra, ive been trying to decide what 2/4 drop kit to go with and i think ima go with djm with the lowering control arms up front. my question is has anybody had any problems with these? ive had a belltech 3/4 drop on my last truck with coils but it rode like crap, i really dont want to do spindles because i dont want to have to worry about rim sizes and what not. so any complaints with dropping a truck with control arms? also what are the best shocks you can get? im thinking of getting billsteins all the way around, i know there expensive, just want to know if its worth it, thanks fellas

I've run the 2" DJM control arms. They are well made but the balljoints are **** on them. Ask just about everybody who has owned DJM control arms. They wear out extremely fast. Fortunately, they're easy to replace, but not too terribly cheap.

i have djm 4 lower arams and have not had any probs. when the rode is smooth, the ride is smooth but when it is bumpy, the ride is bumpy. so i try to avoid bumpy rods, lol. good luck with your project.
