Default DJM 4/6 Drop HELP

I have a 05 RCSB 4x2 silverado I lowered it 4/6 with a DJM drop kit (flip kit in the back with c-notch and bumpstops in place). When I hit a big bump my rear diff hits the box. Should I cut out the cross beam on the underside of the box over top of the diff? Or are my shock junk? I got the shocks from belltech for their 4/6 drop. Shock are band new as is the drop kit.

Thanks.

stiffer shocks and longer bump stops IMO.

My guess is the shocks are fine - they're just doing what they do. Something has to give when you hit a bump, right? I do like the bump stop idea. Good luck...

Is your exhaust running over the rear end and hitting when you hit a bump, or is it the actual rear hitting the bed? I think the belltech kits comes with a notch for that bed crossmember, should be able to buy it seperate if you want to notch the bed crossmember. Or you could get longer bump stops like TXsilverado suggested.

While your under there, check that brake line that runs across the top of the housing and make sure it isn't damaged, and then move it down so you don't have to worry about loosing your brakes.
