ok guys ive been doin a lil research.
my sister is goin to austrialia for a 2 week softball tournament and im lending her the money. When she pays me back im goin to start gathering the goodies.
First im gettin E-fans.
NOS will be installed one day to.
Differentials Ive looked at:
TrueTrac= not what im wanting, i want something that Locks positive. I always end up doing something and end up with one tire in the air
...
Original Detroit locker= Sounds pretty good, its strong, positive locking but im sure its expensive.
Eaton LSD= good street use, but not positive locking or ill burn the clutches and then have to figure out what to do then.
Detroit E-Z locker= Ive only heard about this one, and read bout it on detroit.com from what i can tell, you replace the guts in the factory Diff??
LockRight= sounds good, but never heard of it before..
PowerTrax= same as lockright, except it looks like you have to replace the guts in stock diff?
E-Locker=ooouuuhhhh That sounds cool, but not to pratical money wise i think?
Gears:
3.73's
3.90's THE CHOICES!!!!
4.10's
Long Tube Headers.. What are the most reasonable priced??(are these pratical on just a cammed motor?)
Corvette servo, Shiftkit, and then theres the stall choices.. Probably the TB stall?
Im goin to make my own custom exhaust, Probable a 3" with magnaflow?
Then there is the Cam.. hum.. Just wanting as much power out of the 5.3 as i can get but not to outrageous, unless i can find some heads for a decent price.
Now i have to talk my self into gettin EFI live or something??
I trust you guys will lead me in the right direction.
With my job i travel, so MPG is not that big of a deal but i dont want it to go way down (right now im gettin anywhere from 22-23ishMPG cruising). I tow our 4wheeler trailer every other weekend when we go riding. But i want to turn some good numbers in the 1/4. Is 13.5-14 asking too much from what i want to do??
Thanks for yalls help guys!!!! Dont be too nice, tell me like it is.

Stay away from teh Detroit EZ locker and the Powertrax lockright, I cant warn you to stay away enough. I broke three, split a carrier in 1/2 and wrecked the spines on a set of axles. they will interfere with ABS action and intriduced wicked wheelhop and driveline slop.
