Default Differential Oil for G80

I have been researching and read Mobil1 is not compliant but it may be for cold temps.

To be safe and sure I'm asking for mid south GA & FL weather would Mobil1 70W-90 be ok in my G80?

I prefer something off the retailer shelf if possible. Thanks

Valvoline 75W90 synthetic is all I ever use pretty much.

I don't really care what brand it is, so long as the weight is right. The diff won't know any better and the stuff is like $11-12 a bottle.

Any 75w90 synthetic should work, i usually put a bottle of linited slip additive in just for good measure.

I'm guessing Chucky Schummer was your inspiration on this! You nailed it though I'll give you that!

Negatory on that...not supposed to use any additive with the truck G80. Eaton Gov-Loc is a locker and does not need limited slip/posi additive and should not have it, this is backed up by a TSB from GM that says it can cause problems. Chatter, improper operation, etc.

I know it gets debated a lot but the TSB says it all. I can dig it up if you like.
