Default Different Hanger Choices

I'm looking to do just a simple 2-4 drop on the truck but I'm running into some confusion on the drop hangers for the rear. There seems to be 3 different style hangers for the 99-06 pickups. 4, 6, and 8 rivet. I have the 6 rivet rear hangers, the only kits I see are available with the 4 rivet hangers only. Will they still work in the 6 rivet hanger location?

All drop hangers don't use the frame extension pieces that the factory hangers use. So no worries using any drop hanger bracket.

Thank you. I did all kinds of searching and couldn't find an ounce of information on this.
