Default Did I kill it again?

Many know I just had my 60E rebuilt about a month ago. One of the lines on the trans cooler had a hose clamp brake. Didn't touch it during the trans rebuild but it decided to brake about 3 weeks after the trans job.

It was fairly low by the time I found the leak but I put 3 quarts back in it and it was reading full. Took a short drive and it seemed to drive ok. Checked it again the next day and it needed another 2 quarts. I was driving on the hiway and it was locking and unlocking constantly is why I stopped to see if the fluid level went down. I topped it off and continued on my trip and it ran just fine the rest of the 20 miles, and did great for the 30 miles or so home.

The next morning I went to take the kids to school and was now acting like it was in limp mode of sorts, winding 1st out a little ways but shifting into 2nd and 3rd with out much issue. But it wouldn't shift into over drive.

I have EFI live but no longer have my own laptop so I was hoping it was in some sort of limp mode, I stopped at autozone to see if there were any codes to clear and fix it!? I knew it was a long shot but I was already driving by. It showed no codes but as soon as I left it wouldn't shift out of first. I plan to get a lap top and reload the tune as a last ditch effort.

Does anyone have a clue, am I lucky enough that it is in a limp mode and the scanner didn't play nice with my custom tune? I don't have the cash to work on the trans again at all but I am praying some sort of lucky last ditch effort can restore what I have to perfect working condition.

I think you hurt it if it was 3 quarts low. Maybe try some additives and see if they help.

Did you try contacting the trans guy???

When it shifts to 2nd then 3rd do they feel soft and slow? I just went through something similar, turned out that the input drum broke and the the 3-4 clutch pack went with it. Sorry man hope its a little different for you but it sounds kinda bad
