4.10s wont make it that much worse, and after you change them out you will thank me. I promise.

My experience says differently, and I only went 3.73's to 4.10's, not 3.42's to 4.10's. After the swap, I went from ~19 to ~17 on the freeway, and ~15 to ~12 around town.

Since my supercharged beast weighs a ton (well, three tons actually, 6,025 with me in it), I didn't want to risk my rear end going out and taking my transmission with it. So I put in an Eaton LSD which is much stronger than the G80. I put 4.10's in while I was at it. About the only thing I'd do differently is keep the 3.73's in.

The Eaton has been a dream to drive, and is very fun.

I would kill for those kinda miles, I get 10 in town, 14 on the hwy, and 9 when towing +/- 8000lbs.
