Default Deep trans pan clearamce

I'm looking at getting a deep pan when I get my new trans, but I want to know from people who have them if they hang down below the frame. I'd hate to scrub one off going over a speed bump if I drop the truck down to 4/6.

Thanks.

I've got one on mine, I'll check at lunch, but it's close to the x-member

If memory serves, the overall height of the pan is ~1" taller. They are 100% box-shaped, and not with the recessed area toward the front of the pan. Like Tootall said, close to the c-member, but not below (at least not on my truck ).

There's all kinds of room. Looks like my x-over pipe for the exhaust would hit first. I've got the 2+ qt pan. TCI deep trans pan, 110 from summit. I'm using the short filter with no extension neck for the filter.

I had a discount coupon when I ordered mine a while back. It's great, no issues or problems.

CON:
The only bad thing about it it's that the drain plug is right over the x-over for the exhaust, but that's about it. It's still easy to get to.

The hardware that it comes with are allen heads. They're nice, but it's easier if you have the allen socket.
