Timken is OEM parts supplier..

what brand options do you have from Ron's?

95% of our sales are Timken vs every other brand out there.

I'm not sure of the less expensive kit brand, just says "Complete master install kit gives you the required parts for rebuilding your rearend and/or changing the ring & pinion and carrier."

There is Yukon Gear "Yukon Gear complete master install kit gives you the required parts for rebuilding your rearend and/or changing the ring & pinion and carrier. Yukon kits include all premium quality components including Timken bearings where applicable."

And Motive Gear "Motive Gear complete master install kit gives you the required parts for rebuilding your rearend and/or changing the ring & pinion and carrier. Motive Gear kits include all premium quality components including Timken bearings."

Motive is only available for the front. Yukon for both front and rear, same with the less expensive kit. Motive is 2/3 the price of the Yukon kit, for the front, 133 vs 200.

http://www.angelstransmission.com/ this guy bent over backwards to help with my first 10 bolt gear swap. Does good work. Also I had the gears in my buggy set up by a guy down on state avenue. When I think of the name I'll post up.

Thanks for the info. That place is just up 35 from where I work so it would be a lot easier than down town Olathe.

Now I need to decide if I should add $465 to this project to swap the G80 with a true-trac. My old G80 went 150k miles with no problems but this truck will have boost some day, so I'm guessing the consensus will say to upgrade.

Does anyone put a true-trac in the front diff also?
