In the front if you run spindles you can keep the shocks you have. If you run drop springs up front you might want to get the correct shocks as well though. (I am running stock length KYB's w/2" drop springs w/no prob tho)

In the rear I have the original shocks w/shock extenders. You should be ok with the bilsteins w/only 4" of drop. Shock extenders will help with the angle and how well they work though.

I used spindles up front and the mcgaughys rear hangers for the back. instead of buying a flip kit I bought some spring perches and welded them on..works like a champ. Im running the nitro drop 2 shocks and they are ok...but id like to upgrade to something stiffer. Did u run those bilsteins with c-notch?

Bumping for info...

I will be doing a 2/4 on my CC in a month or so. my truck looks identical to miles, hoping he sees this and posts up more pics.

Interested in the spring perches, but may just do a flip kit. Trying to decide on coils or spindles up front.

I haven't done this yet, but from what I've read. Coils from McG and a flip kit with a lift hanger is the best way to go. I know several guys on here run a 2/4 with a 285/50 tire so that's good. I still have questions if the Bilstein replacement shocks will be fine. I know I'll have to run a shock extender for the rear but haven't found an answer for if the front shocks will be fine. I believe they will be from one or two post on here.

I will be running a 275/55/20

I was under the impression you can't run a hanger unless you cut existing one off and reweld a new one on

Yeah, I was talking about the shackle hanger but yeah, you would have to cut it off and install the one that comes in the kit.
