I followed the corvette servo sticky write-up to do mine and am pretty positive i did everything right but maybe not... it never slipped before i put it in and as soon as i finished this install it started slipping from first to second, what could i have possibly done wrong?

when i did mine i didnt notice a diff at first . it took like 2 days of driveing . to notice . it might have been the grease i used to lube the o rings . took some time to wash out . but idk

 

thats what i thought too, but its been 2 weeks since the swap and its not getting any better?

 

Yeah, thats a little weird. Is the fluid level correct? You usually lose less than a quart though.

I guess it could have amplified an existing issue you had...maybe the 1-2 clutch pack was on its way out already?

Did you make sure all the o-rings were in place?

Well i dont think the tranny was going bad already, before i got it it was owned by an older guy that had it since 2003 and only had 54000 miles on it...it only has 64000 now and it doesnt get driven hard very often?
and im pretty positive that i put the o-rings in place right....idk, anybody else got ideas? could i pull it out and be able to tell if something is wrong from that way?

If one of the o-rings is pinched or folded over you should be able to see that by removing the servo again...

 

When you put the assembly back together did you get all the washers back in it correctly???

 

take it back out and make sure you dont have any of the parts in backwards. look up a picture and make sure you have it on the pin right

 

from the sticky write-up, making sure the rings get in the same way they were before they came out is very essential, so if you aren't 100%, that'd be something to check

 

it cant hurt to check to see if everything went on ok, ill take u 20 mins
