Yes the shaft is the correct one. In a 2wd truck there is also a pressed on sleeve with an oring seal inside of it for a vented yoke. You will still have to get this piece or seal the hole in the yoke. Otherwise it will leak. Vince

Do you know where to get this sleeve? I just got in my new tailhousing and it has new o-rings and that black seal on the outside of smaller end of the tailhousing, is that what your talking about?

Thanks for the help btw

Your tail housing will have two seals on it. One for the yoke and one for the main case to tail housing. The one I was talking about is actually pressed on the output shaft that seals the yoke to the shaft. This is needed as I mentioned earlier because most all trucks use a vented yoke. Here is a part number for what you would need to purchase from a dealer. 8654063 Hope this helps. Vince
