Default corner weight estimate of 91stnd.cab short bed ?

I am wanting to put a 4-link with coil overs. But I need to know approximate weight at each tire. I know the whole truck weighs 5k.

where did ya come up with the number of 5k for the vehicle weight? my 90' 454ss weighs 3996 without me in it...... only weight reduction is aluminum heads and i took the rear bumper off in favor of a roll pan.

If you had to guess just to get you started, I'd start with a a 60/40 to 55/45 split. Then just divided by two.

So for 5000 lbs, I'd say:

1500-1375 on the fronts
1000-1125 on the rears

I do however agree with bigblock, that truck shouldn't weigh 5000lbs.

I found my scale numbers from years back for my 95. These corner weights are with the original V6, 5 speed, leaf springs and a stock rear end. It was a stripped work truck.
Front left- 1104 lbs
Front Right- 1057 lbs
Rear Left 810 lbs
Rear Right 726.

Those numbers are with me sitting in the drivers seat (180 pounds). When the truck was weighed it was without front or rear bumpers. Every setup is different, but this should get you close.

Thats 58% on the front, so my example above should get him close. Thanks.
