convertor question

Default convertor question

i got a 02 silverado ext. cab with a 5.3. mods are exhaust, cai, and 125 shot. soon to be drag radials, 4.10's with locker, and a nitrous cam. looking for the right stall. im thikin of getting a 2200-2400. im currently in the process of building a tranny since mine said bye bye. its a 4L65 with billet servos and a shift kit. does anybody have any input?

Personally, I wouldn't get anything less than a 3000 even with a stock cam kind of depends on your cam specs are and your goals are.

I agree, less than a 3000 rpm stall is a waste of $. Your stall speed and cam should match, that is where the cam starts to come on is going to determine the proper stall speed.

looks like you are stock cam, so look at a TBTC (cheapest way)
