Ive been researching about whether or not my converter is a POS. Its a tci 3000 stall. Ive talked with Chris at Circle D and I am 97% convinced to purchase on of theres. What do you guys think? Im going to include a video of my truck cruising around town. Tell me if you guys trucks are riding the same RPM wise.

i pretty much stay around 3K and up all day

I thought I had a problem with my converter from Circle D, without question he built me a new one and shipped it out. My problem turned out to not be the TQ but Circle D and their customer service rocks!

Yeah your converter is just a Loose converter.....You need to get the camera closer to you tach and stomp on the gas so we or chris can see where you converter is flashing.....My converter is a 3000 stall but it is a tight converter which means when i put it in gear it moves like a daily driver untill you get into it then it will flash around 3000 rpms

The TCI converters are a very loose converter! Nothing like a Yank or Circle D that's for sure, that's the beautiful thing about the Circle Ds and Yanks is under normal driving conditions you hardly even know you've got a stall unless you hammer it then you know it's there!
Personally I hate the way those TCI verters feel.
