i just had this problem..........until tonight!
I popped in the pcm I got from blackbear, did the relearn procedure and walah! problems gone. I'm so relieved. I think a tune has a huge part to do with it.

P1516 Throttle Actuator Control(TAC) Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance

P2108 "Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Module Performance" EPA ($10) "Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

U0107 "Lost Communication With Throttle Actuator Control Module " H ($10) "Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

P0449 Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Valve/Solenoid Circuit Malfunction

Sounds like a faulty PCM to me. hopefully you get it figured out soon

You definitely need to address the TB codes before anything else.

Well, went and got a diagnostic scan today (dealer)(free)... NOTHING came up. Except the p0449 code.

Soooo...its not throwing any codes.

Valve? Solenoid?

**Update**

So tonight, driving home from work and what not... i got on it to pass someone. (WOT). Afterwards... it decided to do what i listed in the original post. (the surging thing)

So i decided to test a theory... Stopped at a gas station and ran in for a few minutes. (shut the truck off)..

Started it up and didn't have any issues the rest of the way home.

So question.... if its a tune issue... would this issue come & go? or would it happen all the time?
