The new pan requires a certain filter. Mine's a stock replacement and won't fit in the retainer for the filter. (the pan came with a clip) That's the only thing holding me up right now. The new pan looks awesome! It looks to come down as much as the truck oil pan. Looks tough!

i'm using a deep pan with a stock filter.
no retainers or nothing. no problems
