Hey guys i have a trailblazer converter i installed in my truck and now 8000 mi. later its slipping and not locking up....what should i put in and what stall range is a factory converter for the 03 sierra/silverados.....

 

Im sure your trans having only 1st and 2nd now is part of your problem Scott.

I think factory is around 1600. Get a tt2600 or tt3000.

 

Scott, a converter is the very least of ur problems my friend. I wouldnt go with that tall of a converter for a truck u haul dirtbike trailers and haul dirtbikes all the time, heat is a tranny killing factor imo.

Id say the ol' sierra is far from an SS now.....

 

I love my TT3000 and i tow a good bit... if you take it easy you can keep the RPMs low... i want to tow something pretty heavy this summer and see what she will do.
