I'm thinking about having a drive shaft from a oh '88+ truck shortened to fit my '78 Malibu. Anyone break one of these? I can have 1 shortened, balanced and new u-joints for around $120 and I already have a core. Has anyone twisted 1 of these into? Much lighter and less harmonics than steel and must be much stronger than Aluminum F-body shaft. Oh it's 3200ish lbs 5.3 cam/tune, 4l60, 3.50 rear. MP t76/WG and BOV setting on shelf waiting for Nov weather, looking for around 600ish at the wheels when all is said and done but probably swap to a 4l80 by then so 400ish on this shaft max is probably more realistic.
