I gotta agree with most on here, you'd be going backwards with a ridetech shock and a streetable spring for drag racing. If you have a street truck though go for it. Also, the arms will only save you about 15 lbs total. So $1100 for 15 lbs isn't a real good return.
I'll have about $4000 in my new front setup but it's gonna loose nearly 150 lbs (probably more than that). Ridetech arms, custom belltech spindle, madman brake kit and custom valved afco coil overs.
My opinion, the set up I used to run worked awesome. Drop springs and an adjustable qa1. I was able to cut 1.5 60's (in street trim) or 1.3 60's (in race trim) with a 4/6 drop. It's affordable for most, cuts great 60's, and can be tightened back up to have a comfortable street ride.

what shocks were you running and what was the part numbers if you can remember

I dont remember without digging through a ton of paper work. Basically, I did as stated above, set the truck at ride height, figure out what the shock length needs to be at ride height, figure out how much stroke you want (for comp and reb) and go from there. QA1 has specs for all their shocks on the line.

I cut the top out shock mount and I'm running a $110 7" stroke heim end gas shock.. I just made mounts for it.. Set it for 2" compression and 5" extension. Im going to see how the these light springs do for weight transfer, if they don't do what I want I'm going to make the jdm lighting springs fit and see how they do.

haha im from quincy actually. the truck is currently off the road because i dont have time to drive it anymore between working two jobs and all my other hobbies. plus i want to redo the mounts for the coils so it needs to have some work done before i can really drive it again.
