Default Calvert racing split mono leafs

Anyone tried a pair of these on our trucks?? seems like a very good idea. I'd post the link but I dont know if its non-sponsor or not... but they are very clearly advertised on thier site. Looks like they re-did the site too... looks much better IMO.

-I need some traction help badly...

When I ordered my Caltracs they said specifically not to use the those springs with a truck. I even gave my weight (much less than yours) and they still said not to use them. They said to remove the overload spring and install the bars. I still have not tried them as I am having motor and trans issues.

bet mine's not as heavy as you think I wonder ehy they say this... just simply because of the weight? or doest it have something to do with the spring rate..... I already have my overload removed. Looking for more options.

What are the advantages of removing the overload spring. Mine still has it and I am running caltracs. If this helps traction looks like I found my next free mod.

I have a flip kit, I removed the overload and couldnt be happier, my truck actually gets better traction now!

I wouldn't remove the overload if you do not have caltracs because if you do you will experience wheel hop.
